Congratulations to all the students who were nominated and endorsed by two separate individuals to one or two awards in recognition of their outstanding achievements as either research or teaching assistants, as well as their overall performance as graduate students.
The University of Oklahoma Student Association Graduate Student Senate awards $300.00 to each of the three award winners in recognition of their superior performance in teaching, research, and overall performance as graduate students

Florence McCann, Department of Instructional Leadership and Academic Curriculum (Science Education) is named as the Overall Outstanding Graduate Student for 2007 – 2008 academic year.
Lei Yang, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, is hereby named the Outstanding Research Assistant for 2007 – 2008 academic year.
Juanita Ortiz, Department of Sociology, is hereby named as the Outstanding Teaching Assistant for 2007 – 2008 academic year.
