This fellowship honors Dr. Kenneth L. Hoving, Dean of the Graduate College from 1980 to 1990.

Eligibility Requirements

• U.S. Citizen
• 3.5 or better Grade Point Average
• First Year Doctoral Student in the following fields:
  • Vocal Music, with preference for Opera
  • Instrumental Music, with preference for Piano or Violin
  • History
  • Psychology (Developmental Psychology)
  • Physics

• $5,000 award
• Full waiver of non-resident and resident tuition
• 0.50 FTE Graduate Assistantship
• Basic Health Insurance subsidy
• Renewable for a maximum of 5 years
