Hudson Fellowship

This fellowship was established in 2000 through a generous gift to the History department from Mr. Cliff Hudson, CEO of the Sonic Corporation and President of the Oklahoma City Board of Education. This four-year fellowship is available to outstanding students entering the University of Oklahoma doctoral program in history.

Eligibility Requirements

  • First-year doctoral student in History
  • Specialization in Western, Native American, or Environmental History
  • 0.50 FTE Graduate Assistantship

Award

  • Enhanced stipend
  • Full waiver of non-resident and resident tuition
  • Basic Health Insurance subsidy
