College Application
Please submit the following
items, along with your printed Nomination Form (obtained
when you complete the online portion of the application at www.pmf.opm.gov)
to the OU Nomination Official Dr. Janis Paul.

- Your Curriculum Vitae or Resume
- A statement of Purpose describing your
career goals and your interest in public service, particularly
at the Federal level.
- An essay that analyzes a team-centered
project in which you were involved. This analysis should
include a description of the project and the participants,
the outcome of the project, a description of the inter-personal
team dynamics, your contribution to the project, and the
lessons you learned regarding team work and group activities.
- Reference letters from at least two OU
faculty members. These letters should address the following
topics:
- the applicant's leadership abilities
- the applicant's problem-solving abilities
- the applicant's ability to effectively communicate in
large groups as well as in small teams
- the applicant's commitment to public service
This letter should include examples and assessments within
the referrees' experience. It should not simply restate
information already provided by the applicant.
Guidelines: For each of these items there
is no limit on the page length. However, please keep in mind,
that reviewers will need to quickly evaluate many applications.
Therefore, each item needs to contain relevant information
presented in a concise and well-organized format that is
conducive to clarity in reading comprehension.
