Application and Selection Process

1. Go to www.pmf.opm.gov, to find out more about the PMF program.
   
2. Fill out the online application on www.pmf.opm.gov.
   
3. Print out the Nomination Form.
   
4. Submit the Nomination Form to the OU Nomination Official (The expected deadline for the 2009 applications is October 15, 2009. Please check this page regularly for the updates). If you are a Norman or Tulsa campus graduate student, the Nomination Official is Dr. Janis Paul. If you are a Law student, contact Katie Giffin for more information.
   
5. Prepare and submit the OU Graduate College application to the Graduate College Nomination Official. (The submittion deadline for the 2010 applications is October 15, 2009. Please check this page regularly for the updates).
   
6. The OU Nomination Committee will review all completed applications and forward their recommendations to the PMF Program.
   
7. The PMF program officers will review all nominations and select a group of semi-finalists.
8. Semi-finalists will attend a day-long assessment program in January 2010 (typically at a regional center in Dallas, TX).
9. Based on this assessment program, the PMF program officers will select a group of finalists who will be notified by late February or early March 2010. Finalists will be invited to participate an annual fair held in Washington D.C. in Spring 2010.
