Fellowship Tuition Waivers

This waiver is applicable to students receiving the specific fellowships listed below. Each fellowship agreement has specific qualifications and award stipulations.

Award Process
The academic Unit completes the Fellowship Tuition Waiver Request.
Whenever possible, we recommend making both fall, spring, and summer awards. If necessary, an award can be cancelled at a later date.
The Graduate College will award the tuition waiver.
The Graduate College will notify the student (via e-mail) of the award decision. The email is sent to the student's OU email account.
The award letter will contain the following information:

  • The type of waiver
  • The amount of the award
  • The semester to which the award is applicable
  • General information concerning course costs which may and may not be waived
  • Information regarding the student's responsibility to retain the tuition waiver
