- Once awarded, tuition waiver information is sent to the Office of
Financial Aid.
- Tuition waivers are factored into a student's overall aid package.
- Financial Aid will disqualify any over-awarded waivers.
- The Office of the Bursar receives tuition waiver information from Financial
Aid.
- Allowable waivers are posted to the student's bill.
- The student is responsible for any tuition not covered by the waiver.
- It may take a few days to a few weeks for the entire process.
Delayed Awards & Student Bills
- A student's first bill of the semester may not reflect the tuition
waiver.
- A student who has received an award e-mail, should recheck the bill
one month after the date of the e-mail.
- Any late fees associated with the tuition waived will be removed once
it is posted.
Change in Enrollment Status
- Tuition waivers are computed on the number of hours in which a student
is enrolled at the time the waiver is awarded.
If a student's enrollment increases or decreases,
the student must contact the Graduate College to receive any potential
tuition waiver adjustments.
