
Scholarships and Travel & Research Grants
Current OU graduate students have access to four major resources of travel and research funding, including the Robberson Travel and Research Grant (offered through the Graduate College), Graduate Student Senate (GSS) Research and Conference Grants, and scholarships and grants offered by specific colleges and departments.

Occasionally the Graduate College will be notified of openings for graduate assistantships (teaching or research positions). Check out the recent announcements here, then contact the respective department directly to ask questions or to apply.

The Graduate College offers funding opportunities to over 200

Center for Research Program Development and Enrichment (CRPDE)
CRPDE was established to assist OU faculty, research scientists, postdocs and students in their efforts to build strong and competitive programs for research, scholarship and creative activities. The Center helps to identify funding opportunities for research projects and assist with the development of proposals for external funding.

The Office of Financial Aid Services awards and monitors all federal and need-based awards. The financial aid is available to students through scholarships, grants and tuition waivers, and loans. Graduate College Tuition Waivers and Fellowships
Graduate Teaching and Research Assistants
with a 0.50 FTE appointment total (or greater) appointment and who meet certain enrollment requirements are eligible for a tuition waiver and basic student health insurance.
