Angie DeRosa started as a graduate research assistant in December 2007, leaving a nearly 10-year career in corporate communications and business journalism to pursue her master’s degree in managerial economics.

DeRosa is involved with several writing projects for the Graduate College, including helping with writing and editing a new recruitment brochure.

She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, and has been actively involved with writing groups during her professional life. She has been involved with the Society of Professional Journalists; Association for Women in Communications; and Oklahoma Writers Federation.
