Step 1. Obtain and complete the admissions applications.

Obtain and complete the University of Oklahoma Application for Admission and indicate the Unclassified Non-Degree major code, 4920Y.

• U.S. citizen/permanent residents use this Application for Admission.
• OU graduating seniors use this application.
• International Students. 
  
  NOTE: International students may not be eligible to apply as an Unclassified student per Immigration regulations. Contact the International Student Services office at (405) 325-3337 for additional information regarding regulations for International students.

Carefully read and complete the Unclassified Graduate Student Conditions and Limitations Form.

Step 2. Submit the Applications

Send the University of Oklahoma Application for Admission, application fee and official transcripts to:

Return your Unclassified Non-Degree student form (statement of purpose and signed Unclassified Graduate Student Status Conditions and Limitations form) directly to:

Step 3. Office of Admissions Review

Upon receipt of your application, the Office of Admissions will verify if all materials are received and will forward your application to the Graduate College for review. 

Step 4. Graduate College Review

Once these materials are received, the Graduate College will review your complete application package in order to determine your admission eligibility. In some instances we may ask to meet with you in person to further clarify your application materials.

Step 5. Notification of Admission Decision

The Graduate College will forward the application and admission decision to the Office of Admissions who will notify you of your admission status.
